Events & Promotions Background

I have had my fair share of experience with working on events, from hosting and organising, to promoting and volunteering. I worked at a Children's Party Centre for over four years as an entertainment host and making sure the running of back-to-back parties ran smoothly.

I’ve been a part of the promotions team at Direct Image for a few years, promoting brands and activities at shopping malls, outdoor music events and council events in Sydney.

At my time interning at The X Studio filming a reality series, I also had the opportunity of filming at the parties and events, which was one of my favourite experiences.

I completed a work placement a few years ago at Sweet Art, a wedding events company in Sydney, assisting in research and preparation.

I’ve also had the opportunity to volunteer at The Sydney Underground Film Festival for the after parties where I waitressed and assisted members with information about the festival.

Interviewing Background

I've had the wonderful experiences of interviewing fascinating people and being interviewed myself.

I was an ambassador for a pathway University talking about my personal experiences and helping those who were unsure of what steps to take after graduating high school and feeling disappointed with their ATAR. I was interviewed on the radio a few times, forThe Huffington Post, and for a couple of newspapers. It was a fantastic experience.
On the other side, I've interviewed up-and-coming DJs, as well as internationally recognised DJ Hypster, from Ibiza, for a web series. I've interviewed event planners and brides for university projects and interviewed students and young adults for film and articles for online publications.

After these experiences, I feel confident and excited interviewing people and learning about all their amazing accomplishments, talents and wisdom.

Digital Art Background

For my first participation in a film festival, I wanted to do something different to what other students were, like an animation. I didn't know how to use any fancy software, so I free-hand drew on the old Microsoft app Paint and edited the 2D drawings on Cyberlink Power Director. Since then, I've fallen in love with this strange technique I came up with and It has surprisingly worked well with achieving national and international recognition at film festivals as a finalist.
